I have started The Light of All That Falls, Book Three of The Licanius Trilogy by James Islington

I have started The Light of All That Falls, Book Three of The Licanius Trilogy by James Islington.

War has come as millennia old plans whose depth and complexity are nothing short of staggering reach fruition. But is Tal'kamar running out of ideas? One more fooled Venerate down (mostly), two to go (I think), but one friend is sealed to keep the ilshara whole and two others trapped within. Can it be ever be taken down safely? How does one slay a dark god? Those are the unasked questions that plague me, and the book's title does not exactly engender confidence either. Can the breach be closed and, if so, what of the Augurs? How will the war reshape the realms? Licanius means Fate. Licanius is a sword. Is the first as binding as the Old Religion claims? The answer to this final question is what this ages-spanning conflict is all about. Time to find out.
