Knowledge and lack therof

One lesson I have learned from my perpetual Fantasy book reading is never to give credence to phrase "what you don't know won't hurt you," as lack of knowledge can be dangerous indeed. I prefer the phrase "what you do not know you cannot ever give away."

After all, if knowledge is power then, by extension, would not having a lack of knowledge mean a lack power? In my experience, yes.
