I just started Terciel and Elinor by Garth Nix

Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

By those blessed words do I again start a book of Garth Nix's Abhorsen series, Terciel and Elinor, a prequel telling the tale of Sabriel's parents.
The Abhorsen series was the third great Fantasy I ever read back in the 7th grade, after The Lord of the Rings and Paolini's The Inheritance Cycle, so returning to the Old Kingdom now is like seeing a very old friend again. A friend wielding the bells of a necromancer and bearing the Charter mark that marks ones in service to life against the Dead that wont stay dead. I look forward to getting to know Sabriel's father Terciel better and meeting her mother Elinor for the first time (not counting that visit in Death) along with Abhorsen Tizanael. Ever will I gladly and with delight travel with the Abhorsen and Abhorsen-in-Waiting. Good seeing you again too, Mogget.
