I have just started Duel at Araluen, book #3 of the Ranger's Apprentice: The Royal Ranger series by John Flanagan.
This
situation reminds me very much of the Siege of Macindaw on multiple
fronts, enough I admit to concern that Flanagan is running out of ideas.
That said, I am looking forward to getting to know the Heron
Brotherband and seeing how Maddie can strategize her way out of this
mess.
